Rental Policy

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required at the start of your rental. Deposit amounts by vehicle:

• Toyota Corolla Hybrid: $500
• Toyota Camry Hybrid: $500
• Toyota RAV4 Hybrid: $500
• Toyota Kluger Hybrid: $500

Your deposit is returned in full within 5–7 business days of vehicle return, provided the vehicle is returned in the same condition (normal wear and tear excepted).

Cancellation & Return Policy

There are no lock-in contracts at Baraka Car Rentals. To end your rental, simply give 1 week's written notice via WhatsApp or email to admin@barakacarrental.com.au.

Your final rental week is the 7 days following your notice. After returning the vehicle in the agreed condition, your security deposit will be refunded within 5–7 business days.

Vehicle Damage Policy

All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance included in your weekly rate. In the event of an accident or damage:

1. Contact us immediately on 0461 555 511
2. Do not admit liability at the scene
3. Take photos of all damage and the other vehicle's details
4. Our team will guide you through the claims process

Your liability is limited to a $1,000 standard excess on the insurance policy.

Fair Wear and Tear

Normal wear and tear is expected and is not charged. This includes minor stone chips, light surface scratches under 2cm, and interior wear consistent with regular driving.

Damage beyond normal wear — including panel damage, windscreen chips, tyre damage from kerb strikes, and interior burns or stains — will be assessed against the vehicle's condition report completed at handover.
